Temporary WiFi Hotspots Launched

WiFi Hotspots Deployed Across
Fauquier County, VA

Data Steam Broadband is pleased to announce that temporary WiFi Hotspots have been deployed in strategic locations across Fauquier County, VA.

With funding provided by The PATH Foundation and in cooperation with Fauquier County Government, Data Stream was able to quickly build and set up these Hotspots which are now available to all Citizens of Fauquier at no cost.

“The Hotspots will remain active and available for the duration of the COVID-19 outbreak.” said Sean Lee, Data Stream’s President and CEO. “These WiFi facilities will also help students log in and enable them to do their schoolwork.” Lee continued.

“It is our pleasure and privilege to deploy this equipment during these challenging times. We appreciate the great working relationship we have with the County and honor The PATH Foundation for donating funding to make this a reality.” Lee concluded.

Citizens will be able to access the WiFi signal from their parked cars at the following locations beginning this week:

  • Warrenton Aquatic and Recreation Facility (WARF)
  • Warrenton Water Tower
  • Route 605 Park and Ride in Warrenton
  • Kettle Run High School in Warrenton
  • Route 28 Park and Ride in Midland
  • Warrenton Airport Terminal parking lot in Midland
  • Monroe Park in Goldvein
  • Orlean Fire Station
  • Remington Fire Station / Remington Baptist Church
Additional locations are being planned and will be announced when available.
